Emergency Roadside Technicians

Description:

• Perform towing and other emergency road services to members
  in designated member service areas and in accordance with
  established procedures, render commercial towing and other
  emergency road services to designated customers and commercial
  accounts, and perform corrective repairs of an emergency
  nature.


• Communicate with dispatch and other personnel to ensure
  prompt and appropriate service to members and customers, handle
  relationships with members, customers, dispatch, managers,
  coworkers, vendors, support personnel and public agency
  officials in a manner that ensures a professional and positive
  service image.


• Assist public agencies in clearing traffic lanes when
  requested and assist in other emergency situations at the
  direction of agency officials. Maintain required licenses and
  permits, and attend mechanical and towing training as
  requested.


• Follow established rules and guidelines to avoid accidents
  or injuries, report and document any accident, damage, or
  unusual circumstance involving an assigned vehicle as well as
  maintain the appearance and general mechanical condition of
  vehicle equipment.


• Accept payments for services rendered and complete
  documentation as required.


• Update necessary documentation.


• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education, Experience, and Other Skills Requirements

•      Valid North Carolina or South Carolina Drivers License

•      Excellent driving record.

•      Exceptional customer service skills.

•      Ability to read maps.

•      Basic math skills.
